To ensure they provide their clients with the most accurate testing results, KJ Scientific Independent Testing Labs (KJ SCI-ITL) participates in the NIST CannaQAP Exercise 2 study.
The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) promotes innovation and competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology.
Exclusively, the NIST hosts the Cannabis Quality Assurance Program (CannaQAP) to provide cannabis testing laboratories with the opportunity to demonstrate and improve analytical accuracy.
On June 4, KJ SCI-ITL (as lab No. 88) submits to NIST test results for the dried hemp flower for their CannaQAP Exercise 2 study. Their lab analyzed cannabinoids including total CBD and total THC, moisture and contaminants such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and more.
This is the second exercise in NIST’s CannaQAP providing inter-laboratory studies twice a year to help with the testing of cannabis. The quality of KJ SCI-ITL testing is proven by objective evaluation comparing results with other labs participating.
