Taste of Texas Hemp Cup Awards

Dr. Karla Johanning’s KJ Scientific Independent Testing Labs is the official lab partner and a featured sponsor for this event.

The Taste of Texas Hemp Cup is the first Texas hemp competition ever.

The event streamed across multiple platforms and was celebrated by hemp lovers, globally.

Hemp Competition

Hemp farmers across the state competed in several categories including best hemp flower. Twenty-five Texas hemp farmers submitted their hemp samples to be tested for the competition.

KJ Scientific Independent Testing Labs selected as the third-party lab tested all hemp strains for cannabinoid potency and terpenes profiling for best hemp flower.

Other award categories included top hemp indoor, top hemp outdoor, most ripe, most pungent (highest terpenes profile), highest CBD, highest CBG, people’s choice and final presentation.
