Dr. Karla Johanning, PhD and CEO and Founder of KJ Scientific Independent Testing Labs participates in the 2-day Texas Cannabis Policy Conference.
The conference is hosted by Texans for Responsible Marijuana Policy, a broad group of organizations and individuals that address marijuana use and negative effects of criminalization.
Dr. Johanning participated in a similar event in November 2020.
As session moderator, Karla focuses on how legalization of cannabis in the U.S. effects cannabis farming and laboratory testing.
The dialogue touches on requirements for state testing of cannabis products and purpose of a state-accredited lab to ensure safe and properly labeled products.
Karla joins three panelists for this session, Dr. Dmitry Kurouski, Texas A&M Researcher, Eric Scarborough, from Emerald Scientific and Dr. Aruna Weerasooriya, Prairie View Texas A&M Professor.
